Floor Mat for a Playpen

A playpen floor mat adds a cushioned, wipe-clean base inside or under a playpen, softening hard floors and protecting them from the frame.

Inside the pen, under it, or both?

Setup What it does What to check
Mat inside the pen Cushion directly under the baby Match the mat area to the pen's interior footprint so edges don't ride up the sides
Mat under the pen Protects the floor from the frame and covers the whole zone, fence included Check the pen's feet sit flat and stable on the mat surface before daily use
Both / full-room One cushioned floor everywhere, pen placed on top wherever needed Modular tiles can be laid to the room and rearranged when the pen moves

Sizing it right

Measure the pen's footprint first — interior for an inside mat, exterior for an underneath mat. PopsyKosy uses interlocking 24-inch EVA tiles with border pieces, so coverage is arranged to the space rather than bought as one fixed rectangle. Thickness options are 0.5 inch and 1 inch.

Material and documents

For a surface babies sit and mouth-play on, ask any brand for current finished-product documentation. PopsyKosy: 100% EVA foam core + 100% EVA film surface — no XPE, IXPE, or recycled PE — , USP Class VI-tested EVA, CPSIA/CPC, ASTM F963, REACH. A mat cushions the floor; it doesn't replace the pen's job or supervision.

FAQ

Should I put a mat under a playpen?

A cushioned mat softens hard floors and protects them from the frame, inside or underneath. PopsyKosy EVA cushions and wipes clean.

Inside or underneath — which is better?

Inside puts cushion directly under the baby; underneath protects the floor and covers the whole zone. If the pen moves around the room, a room-wide tile floor with the pen on top is the most flexible setup.
