Materials & Certification
Every claim we make is on paper.
A label is only a starting point. We would rather show you the file: independent third-party reports, named methods and published report numbers, with the limits kept in view.

The construction
One material,
all the way through.
100% EVA foam core + 100% EVA printed film surface — an all-EVA construction. The film carries the pattern and wipe-clean finish, while the core and film are bonded by thermal fusion.
The records below state which material, sample and test method each result covers.
- 01
EVA printed film
The surface your child touches first. Pure EVA, with the ink sealed beneath a transparent topcoat rather than printed on top.
- 02
Textured surface
A grounded floor feel for supervised tummy time, crawling and ordinary family use.
- 03
EVA foam core
The 1-inch Boulder uses a triple-density build; the 0.5-inch Signature a single-density core.
- 04
Thermal fusion
Film and core bonded under heat and pressure. No adhesive layer in the construction.
- 05
Interlocking tiles
24-inch tiles in 0.5-inch and 1-inch formats, interlocking flush edge-to-edge.
The measured result
A real number.
With its limits in view.
Measured critical fall height · EN 1177 impact-attenuation method
Tested by SGS / Hardline · Report HTY22400013 · issued 29 June 2026.
A PopsyKosy mat is a cushioned floor surface, not a certified safety device. A measured critical fall height describes how the surface behaved in a laboratory test. It is not a promise that a child will not be hurt and it never replaces supervision.
The evidence
Independent documents.
Named laboratories.
Each record corresponds to a report held by Evercrest Living LLC. The tested sample, method, report reference and result stay together.

How to compare
Questions worth asking any brand — including us.
We do not tell you what is inside someone else's mat. We can give you the questions that separate a documented product from a marketed one.
Which material family and construction layers, exactly?View answer
PopsyKosy: 100% EVA foam core + 100% EVA printed film surface — an all-EVA construction.
Is each result tied to a named sample, method and report?View answer
PopsyKosy: yes — each record states the scope we can support, including when a result applies only to the tested sample.
Can I request the underlying documentation?View answer
PopsyKosy: yes — customers, retail partners and press can request the current files and report references.
Is the film glued on, or fused?View answer
PopsyKosy: thermally fused. No adhesive layer in the construction.
Has impact attenuation actually been measured?View answer
PopsyKosy: yes — EN 1177 method, SGS, 1.0 m critical fall height, with the boundary stated above.
What does the brand refuse to claim?View answer
The next chapter is the whole answer.
Equally important
Where our evidence stops.
Read this as a set of limits on what our reports prove — not as a list of features.
USP Class VI is a materials test protocol, and nothing more.Close limit
It is applied to the EVA foam and returns a materials result. It carries no medical, clinical, pharmaceutical or regulatory status of any kind, and a play mat is not a medical device.
We make no germ, hygiene or health-protection claim.Read limit
We have not tested for, and do not claim, any effect on viruses or bacteria.
A cushioned floor surface, not a certified safety device.Read limit
The EN 1177 result does not guarantee any real-world outcome, does not turn the mat into a certified safety device, and does not replace supervision.
A play surface for supervised, awake floor time.Read limit
For sleep, follow safe-sleep guidance and use a crib. We describe this product as a play surface and only as a play surface.
A system of 24-inch interlocking tiles.Read limit
The tiles interlock flush edge-to-edge. Fewer, larger tiles than most mats — but tiles, with tile edges visible by design.
ASTM D5511 is reported strictly inside its own method.Read limit
It is a specific biodegradation test method. We draw no disposal, composting or end-of-life conclusion from it.
No numbers about anyone else's product.Read limit
We do not have their test reports and do not make claims about the percentage of EVA or off-gassing of another brand's product.
No result stretched past its report.Read limit
A sample test is not a whole-product certification. Where a result belongs to one sample and one method, we say so on the record.
