Gathre Living Room Tile-Size Planning Worksheet

Use this independent worksheet to translate a measured living-room area into comparable module and seam records. It does not assert a Gathre tile size or construction; those fields stay blank until a current official Gathre source supplies them. PopsyKosy planning uses its cited installation and configuration pages only.

Write down the room dimensions first

Measure the intended floor area and record length and width in one unit. Mark door swings, floor vents and fixed furniture before comparing any format.

Keep the third-party column empty until you have a current official source for its dimensions. A product name, photo or search snippet is not enough evidence for a size entry.

Build a module record for each option

For every option, record the stated module dimensions, the number of pieces under consideration and the layout boundary. Use a separate row for each format so a folded surface, a single panel and interlocking pieces are not treated as interchangeable.

PopsyKosy’s installation guide uses a 24-inch divisor when estimating tiles from a measured area. Record that estimator as PopsyKosy-specific and preserve the original room measurements beside it.

Count rows, columns and exposed edges

Sketch the planned rows and columns instead of relying only on a total. Note which edges meet a wall and which remain exposed. PopsyKosy’s guide says to connect tiles row by row and finish exposed edges with borders.

A seam count or edge sketch is a planning record, not a performance claim. Do not turn fewer or more pieces into a claim about durability, safety, cleaning speed or superiority.

Reconcile the estimate with current configurations

Build Your Floor currently presents 12-, 24- and 30-tile coverage choices, with 0.5-inch and 1-inch thickness choices. Compare your estimated row-and-column plan with those current configuration labels and record any remainder or uncovered boundary.

Keep thickness separate from footprint arithmetic. Changing a thickness label does not alter the measured room; changing a tile count requires a new layout sketch.

Keep the comparison source-safe

For a third-party entry, cite its current official page and copy only the dimension or format it explicitly states. If the source is missing or ambiguous, label the field “not verified” rather than guessing.

Any PopsyKosy proof statement must stay tied to the named report, tested sample, method, result and reporting limit. This page is independent and does not imply affiliation, compatibility or endorsement.
