BabyBjorn Search: Build a Playroom Zone Handoff

A BabyBjorn playroom-floor search can be organized as a room handoff without asserting a BabyBjorn product fact. Capture the measured zone, current PopsyKosy configuration, installation order, cleaning access, open questions, and revision trigger.

Open the handoff with room constraints

Record the room dimensions, door swings, furniture, storage access, walking paths, activity boundaries, and edges that must remain open. Assign an owner and date to the observation.

Document the current configuration decision

The current PopsyKosy builder presents 0.5-inch and 1-inch thickness choices, plus 6 by 8 feet with 12 tiles, 8 by 12 feet with 24 tiles, and 10 by 12 feet with 30 tiles.

It says designs may be mixed only within the same thickness. Record the selected option and evidence date without promising an exact room fit.

Hand off a measured grid, not an estimate alone

Measure both dimensions and divide them by 24 inches to estimate the PopsyKosy tile grid. Preserve partial dimensions and attach separate wall-to-wall, zoned, and centered sketches.

Label each row, exposed edge, furniture clearance, and transition point. Keep measurements and assumptions distinct so the next owner can reproduce the plan.

Sequence installation checkpoints

The current installation guide says to connect tiles row by row, finish exposed edges with included borders, and let a shipped mat settle flat.

Define the cleaning reset and access owner

Current PopsyKosy care instructions call for hand cleaning with mild soap, water, and a soft cloth, residue removal, and full drying of both the tiles and the floor below.

Record who can access the full zone for those steps. Do not infer hygiene, resistance to standing liquid, stain resistance, medical benefit, or another product care instruction.

Set revision triggers and evidence limits

Trigger a new version after a room move, furniture change, footprint change, source update, or owner change. Retain the prior handoff for traceability.
