Canadian regulations: what our report actually covers
Finished-mat report HTY25500013 (SGS Taiwan, 19 May 2025) includes three Canadian requirements, each with a pass result: the Toys Regulations SOR/2011-17, the Consumer Products Containing Lead Regulations SOR/2018-83 and the Phthalates Regulations SOR/2016-188. Checking whether any brand ships to Canada
Several popular US play mat brands sell only in the United States, ship to Canada with extra fees, or sell through a separate Canadian retailer with different return terms. Before you order from any brand, check three things on their own site: whether Canada appears in their shipping zones, whether checkout is in CAD, and whether their returns policy names Canada.
