House of Noa Smell & Off-Gassing: What to Know

Why play mats smell when new
That fresh-foam odour is volatile compounds leaving the material. The amount and duration depend on foam quality and additives. Lower-grade recycled EVA tends to smell stronger and for longer; better foam with cleaner chemistry clears within days.
What to do about it
