These are a great option for play spaces -- they clean easily and interlock securely. The beautiful grey pattern mimics an area rug for a calm, modern, and classy playroom floor that's not only safe for kiddos to crawl around, but also decently comfortable - the mat is thick with a slightly textured surface, so it gives cushion but doesn't indent or compress as easily as many of the cheaper foam mat options out there. GREAT choice that can be wiped clean and is sure to be well-loved in any home!
TOTEM BEIGE:
———————
These foam floor tiles are both stylish and functional. I got this set in the “Totem Beige” colour, because it’s a nice, light, neutral colour with a bit of warmth that will fit in with the decor in one of my rooms.
The interlocking tiles are beautiful and interesting when assembled together. They look much more stylish and elegant than a baby play mat should be! The foam is thick and will protect your hands and knees as you play on your floor.
I like that the tiles puzzle together easily and are easy to wipe down. They are waterproof, so if there’s a spill, it’s not a problem to clean. The quality of the foam is very good, and I like that these come with flat border trims, as well.
My only complaints are that I wish this set included a few extra tiles to cover a larger surface area, if needed, and that sometimes, the edges of the interlocking tiles lift up so that you have to press them down again for a smooth, seamless surface.
Also, the set is quite a splurge given that it’s made of foam and only covers 4x6 feet! This set was over $100 when I ordered it, which is not the most reasonable or affordable. Doubling up for a larger surface area might not be worth it vs. a rug or carpet…But hey, if you want a more temporary solution and can afford it, why not? I’d wait for the sales, though…

TOTEM GRAY:
——————-
I also ordered this set in “Totem Gray”, which is also a nice, soft, neutral tone. This set looks quite lovely, as well. However, when I ordered it, this set was priced at over $150.

Depending on your decor, if I had to choose between the two sets I got, I think the “Totem Beige” is the better deal. The grey is not really worth paying $50 more, and the beige colour is more versatile, I think. It’s a softer, warmer colour.
I have added photos of the “Totem Gray” so that you can compare. I’ve also included a couple side-by-side photos of both colours in case it helps you with your decision-making…

Design story
The Totem pattern
Totem was the pattern family that broke our category boundaries. Originally designed as a wellness-focused mat (the abstract triangle motif draws from Pacific Northwest indigenous totem geometry, abstracted into a flat form), it became unexpectedly popular among home-gym owners and yoga practitioners. The geometric pattern reads as deliberately adult — no flowers, no soft curves — which is why it found a household-fitness audience first.
The three colorways (Beige, Gray, and Triangles Blue) are tuned for high-contrast visual interest. Beige and Gray were designed to coexist with neutral interiors (white-oak hardwood, leather upholstery, matte-black light fixtures); Triangles Blue brings the only saturated tone in the PopsyKosy lineup, originally requested by a yoga studio that wanted a recognizable on-floor visual anchor. The closed-cell EVA construction means the pattern doesn't fade or wear under chalk + sweat conditions common in home-gym use.
Who this is for
Best fit: Households where the mat does double-duty for adult fitness (yoga, HIIT, mobility work) and child play. The geometric triangle motif is intentionally not "child-themed," which makes it work as a primary floor surface in a home-gym corner of a multi-purpose room. Yoga studios and pediatric PT clinics have also adopted Totem for the same reason.
Less ideal fit: Households that want a visually-soft pattern for a quiet nursery — Totem's geometric energy reads as kinetic and modern (consider Tranquil Flower or Boho instead). Also less ideal if you want a near-invisible neutral surface (consider Boulder in Glacier Grey instead). Totem is the pattern for households that want their floor to read as deliberately design-forward.
