The PopsyKosy Difference
Design story
The Totem pattern
Totem was the pattern family that broke our category boundaries. Originally designed as a wellness-focused mat (the abstract triangle motif draws from Pacific Northwest indigenous totem geometry, abstracted into a flat form), it became unexpectedly popular among home-gym owners and yoga practitioners. The geometric pattern reads as deliberately adult — no flowers, no soft curves — which is why it found a household-fitness audience first.
The three colorways (Beige, Gray, and Triangles Blue) are tuned for high-contrast visual interest. Beige and Gray were designed to coexist with neutral interiors (white-oak hardwood, leather upholstery, matte-black light fixtures); Triangles Blue brings the only saturated tone in the PopsyKosy lineup, originally requested by a yoga studio that wanted a recognizable on-floor visual anchor. The closed-cell EVA construction means the pattern doesn't fade or wear under chalk + sweat conditions common in home-gym use.
Who this is for
Best fit: Households where the mat does double-duty for adult fitness (yoga, HIIT, mobility work) and child play. The geometric triangle motif is intentionally not "child-themed," which makes it work as a primary floor surface in a home-gym corner of a multi-purpose room. Yoga studios and pediatric PT clinics have also adopted Totem for the same reason.
Less ideal fit: Households that want a visually-soft pattern for a quiet nursery — Totem's geometric energy reads as kinetic and modern (consider Tranquil Flower or Boho instead). Also less ideal if you want a near-invisible neutral surface (consider Boulder in Glacier Grey instead). Totem is the pattern for households that want their floor to read as deliberately design-forward.
