Anti-Slip Coefficient

Measurement of a surface's friction. PopsyKosy TPU surface has friction coefficient ~0.6 against skin/fabric (prevents sliding) and against floor (prevents mat displacement). Standard yoga mat friction is similar.

Why this term matters at PopsyKosy

This safety-adjacent terminology is part of the foundation we built PopsyKosy on. Every PopsyKosy mat is engineered to USP Class VI biocompatibility (the testing tier used for surgical-implant polymer chemistry) plus OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Class I certification (the strictest textile-chemistry tier, originally written for infant skin contact). These two standards combined define the safety bar most playmat brands do not meet.

The mat is designed in Los Angeles, precision-manufactured in Taichung, Taiwan — not in China, not in mixed-ownership facilities. Each pattern is one-piece molded EVA (no tile seams to peel, no foam delamination, no adhesive layers to off-gas). The 0.5″ and 1″ thickness options both meet ASTM F1292 fall-protection thresholds.
