PopsyKosy Replacement & Heritage Trade-In Policy

PopsyKosy carries a 5-year limited warranty against material defects, plus a Heritage Trade-In program for customers whose mats have aged out gracefully. Here are the policies in plain English.

5-Year Limited Warranty Coverage

What's covered: delamination of the 5-layer construction, surface cracking under normal use, color fading beyond 15% measured against the original sample, edge-bevel separation. We replace at no charge during the 5-year period from purchase date.

What's not covered: scissor cuts, deliberate damage, fire/heat damage, pet chewing, use on outdoor surfaces, use with chemical cleaners other than mild soap.

Heritage Trade-In Program

After 3+ years of ownership, PopsyKosy customers can submit their aged mat for trade-in credit toward a new mat — typically 10-20% off the new purchase depending on condition assessment. We refurbish trade-ins or recycle the EVA back into our supply chain (closed-loop circularity is part of our sustainability roadmap).

How to File a Warranty Claim

Email hello@popsykosy.com with: order number, purchase date, photos of the issue (well-lit, four angles), and a brief description of when the issue appeared. We typically respond within 1 business day with next steps (often a free replacement ship-out plus a pre-paid label for return of the original).

Discontinued Patterns & Long-Tail Coverage

If your original pattern was discontinued, we honor the warranty against any current in-stock pattern of equivalent tier. We will email a color-match suggestion based on your original photo.

Returns vs Warranty — The Difference

Returns = within 30 days of delivery, customer changed their mind, unused condition. We refund minus the original shipping cost.
Warranty = at any point during the 5-year period, defect in materials or workmanship under normal use. We replace at no cost.
