We publish our supply chain because we have nothing to hide and because parents asking about non-toxic play mats deserve traceability. Here is the full vendor chain.

Tier 1 — EVA Pellet Supplier

USP Class VI medical-grade EVA pellets sourced from a Tier-1 Taiwanese polymer manufacturer. Their material is also used in medical implant packaging — same chemistry, same QC standards.

Tier 1 — TPU Film Supplier

Food-grade TPU film from a different Tier-1 Taiwanese supplier (separate from EVA supplier). REACH and RoHS certified.

Tier 1 — Mesh Reinforcement

Polyester scrim mesh from a Taiwanese textile supplier with OEKO-TEX Class II certification. The mesh sits between the two EVA cores and isn't in skin contact, so Class II is appropriate.

Tier 1 — Inks

Pattern inks are OEKO-TEX certified water-based, sourced from a German chemical company with operations in Taiwan.

Tier 2 — Manufacturing

Mat assembly at our Tier-1 partner facility in Taichung, Taiwan. The facility has hosted SGS audits since 2022 and BSCI social compliance audits annually.

Tier 3 — Distribution

USA distribution via Amazon MCF (Multi-Channel Fulfillment) — Amazon handles inventory, packaging insert, shipping, and U.S. tax collection. Direct orders via popsykosy.com also fulfill from Amazon MCF.

Independent Audits

Annual SGS Taiwan chemical compliance audit. Annual BSCI social compliance audit. OEKO-TEX Class I certificate renewal annually. All certificates available on request to hello@popsykosy.com.

Why not domestically manufactured?

USA-based EVA play mat manufacturing at the quality tier we require doesn't exist at viable scale. Taiwan is the global center of medical-grade EVA expertise.

Is your supply chain ESG-aligned?

BSCI annual audit covers labor standards. Tier-1 Taiwan generally exceeds Chinese mainland labor standards. Carbon footprint roadmap is in our public sustainability report.
