Why cold floors cut floor time short

Tile and hardwood pull heat straight out of a baby, and in winter that makes floor play uncomfortable within minutes. Babies feel cold faster than adults and can’t move much to warm up. The mat is closed-cell EVA with no printed-film top layer to peel and no zip-cover seams to trap dirt — you wipe the whole surface clean with a damp cloth. It carries OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Class I certification across the whole product (the strictest tier, for items in direct contact with a baby’s skin), with USP Class VI biocompatibility on the EVA core and a neutral pH of 6.5–7.0.
