PopsyKosy + Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF)
PopsyKosy ships through Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment (Amazon MCF) — a service Amazon offers brands to use Amazon's warehouse network for non-Amazon channels too. This is why orders from both popsykosy.com AND the Amazon storefront ship from the same physical inventory + arrive in 3-7 days. Below is how it works.
What is Amazon MCF
Most brands have a choice: ship from a 3PL warehouse (less efficient, longer delivery), or ship only via Amazon's marketplace (Amazon takes a higher commission). Amazon MCF is a third option: store inventory in Amazon's warehouses, ship to any channel's customers (Shopify, BigCommerce, brand-direct, etc.) at Amazon's logistics speeds + costs.
PopsyKosy uses this model exclusively. Inventory at Amazon's Wyoming warehouse (1931 Bluegrass Cir, Cheyenne, WY 82009) ships to:
- popsykosy.com customer orders
- Amazon storefront customer orders
- Wholesale / B2B orders (when applicable)
- Press / sample shipping

How MCF coordinates inventory
The supply chain flow:
- Well Foam Industry Co., Ltd produces mats in Taichung, Taiwan
- Mats packed + palletized for ocean freight
- Ocean freight (TWN → US West Coast or East Coast port)
- Customs clearance (Amazon handles + collects relevant duty)
- Trucked to Amazon Wyoming warehouse
- Inventory enters Amazon's tracking system
- Orders from popsykosy.com → Amazon MCF picks + packs → ships
- Orders from Amazon storefront → same Amazon warehouse → ships
- Customer receives in 3-7 days (or 1-3 days if Prime)
The key insight: Amazon's logistics network is more distributed + faster than any single-warehouse DTC setup. Amazon MCF gives small brands access to that network without operating their own warehouses.
How MCF affects pricing
Amazon MCF is more expensive per-unit than ground-shipping from a basic warehouse. PopsyKosy absorbs the MCF cost — that's why shipping is complimentary (we eat the fulfillment cost). The cost shows up in the mat price ($109-$339 range) rather than added at checkout.
How MCF affects returns
Amazon handles return shipping logistics + delivery insurance. Both popsykosy.com + Amazon storefront orders use Amazon's return-shipping infrastructure. For warranty claims (manufacturing defects beyond 30 days), claims route to hello@popsykosy.com — we coordinate with Amazon MCF for replacement shipping.
What MCF doesn't do
- MCF does NOT make PopsyKosy "an Amazon brand." We own the brand, inventory, and customer relationship. Amazon is the logistics provider, not the seller.
- MCF does NOT mean customer data flows to Amazon (popsykosy.com orders are processed through Shopify, not Amazon checkout).
- MCF does NOT make PopsyKosy reviews fake on Amazon (verified-purchase tied to actual delivery confirmations).
- MCF does NOT mean we can't ship to addresses Amazon doesn't serve — we can manually arrange via direct carrier if needed.
The Canada workflow
Canadian orders ship via Amazon Canada's MCF infrastructure. GST/HST/PST is automatically calculated + collected at checkout per Canadian province (Amazon handles tax remittance to provincial tax authorities). Customs clearance happens at the Canada border via Amazon's established import broker — invisible to the customer.
If MCF coverage expands
Roadmap items dependent on Amazon MCF expansion:
- EU shipping — MCF Europe exists; PopsyKosy expansion under evaluation for 2026-27
- UK shipping — MCF UK works similarly; gated on regulatory product registration (CE marking already in place)
- Australia shipping — MCF Australia is operational; market entry pending demand validation
- Hawaii / Alaska / Puerto Rico — MCF US doesn't currently include these; we're working on a separate carrier solution
FAQs
Does MCF mean I'm buying from Amazon, not PopsyKosy?
No. PopsyKosy is the seller of record. Amazon MCF is just the logistics provider. When you buy on popsykosy.com, your order is processed through Shopify; when you buy on Amazon storefront, your order is processed through Amazon. Both ship from Amazon's warehouse infrastructure, but the brand-customer relationship is direct with PopsyKosy.
Is MCF more expensive than direct shipping?
Yes — slightly. We absorb that cost so shipping stays complimentary. The mat retail price reflects MCF cost; you don't see it added at checkout.
Why not ship direct from Taiwan to bypass Amazon?
Direct-from-Taiwan shipping takes 14-30 business days vs MCF's 3-7. Customer experience would be significantly worse. MCF is a net-positive trade-off.
Can I track my order in Amazon's tracking system?
Yes — tracking link emailed within 24-48h of order. Both popsykosy.com and Amazon storefront orders generate Amazon-system tracking numbers.
What happens to my data when I order from popsykosy.com?
Shopify processes the order (your data stays in Shopify's system + our customer database). Amazon MCF receives only the shipping address + order contents — no payment data, no email beyond what's needed for delivery notifications.
Does the warranty period change because of MCF?
No. 30-day satisfaction guarantee + 2-year manufacturing defect warranty + lifetime antimicrobial coating apply regardless of channel. Warranty claims route to hello@popsykosy.com — we handle directly.
